Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for Financial Aid Processing Due
The priority deadline for filing the FAFSA is March 2. If the priority deadline is not met you may still apply, but funding for certain aid programs may be exhausted.

May 1st

Housing Applications Submission Due
Housing applications must be submitted online or postmarked by May 1 for first priority processing and submitted with a non-refundable $50 housing application fee and $600 security deposit (This deposit is separate from the enrollment deposit.) Applications submitted without an application fee and a housing deposit will not be processed or considered for an assignment. Housing applications cannot be submitted until and admission decision has been made. Transfer admission offers will extend into May/June. Housing applications will continue to be accepted on a space available basis after May 1. Transfer housing is not guaranteed but interested transfer students can apply.

Registration Information Letter
Provides information on summer advising options and course registration. Note: all registration is done online via WebAdvisor.

Transfer Enrollment Deposit Deadline 
Applicable to incoming transfers only. You can make the deposit online here or by sending a non-refundable $200 check and completed student enrollment deposit agreement form to the Office of Admission. Please note that if you have not received your admission decision by June 1st the enrollment deposit deadline will be extended for you.

June - July

Student I.D. Photo Submission
Submit a recent photo to be used for your Chapman University student identification card by the end of July (recommended).

New Student Welcome Receptions
Receptions are held throughout the summer all over the country to welcome new students and their families to the Chapman community.

Academic Advising
Transfer students are not required but encouraged to go through academic advising prior to course registration.

Math Placement Testing
Placement testing is completed online for those students who wish to be placed into a higher level math course. Any student who scored below a 500 on the SAT/Math or below 21 on the ACT/Math is REQUIRED to take the Algebra Placement Test.

Registration for Classes
All new students will be assigned a specific date and time when they can begin registering for courses. Those dates will be available on WebAdvisor in late June or early July.

Fall Semester Billing Statement E-mailed
You will receive a billing statement that details tuition and other charges for the upcoming semester.

Housing Assignment Information and Notification E-mail
The Housing Assignment information and Notification Email provides students with housing information, which includes their housing assignment, roommates’ names and contact information, and other helpful information to assist students with their move to the residence community.

All students are required to return this form to Student Health Services.

Final College Transcripts Due
Don’t forget to submit all college course work through end of spring/summer of 2012. Official sealed transcripts can be mailed to Chapman University, Office of Admission, One University Dr. Orange, CA 92866
