Obtaining your Username/Password
- You should receive a letter from our Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) department that lists your student ID Number and Chapman username/password. If it has been more than two weeks since your acceptance, please contact the IS&T Service Desk at 714-997-6600 or servicedesk@chapman.edu for this information.
- You will use this username/password to register online and access Web Advisor, our student information system.
Setting up your PantherMail E-mail Account
- Once you are admitted, all official e-mails from Chapman (including information on your specific registration date and time) will be sent to your Chapman e-mail account.
- Set up your new e-mail account, using the username and password you received when you applied, by activating it online here.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for Financial Aid Processing Due
The priority deadline for filing the FAFSA is March 2. If the priority deadline is not met you may still apply, but funding for certain aid programs may be exhausted.

Freshman Enrollment Deposit Deadline
Applicable to incoming freshmen only. You can make the deposit online here or by sending a non-refundable $200 check and completed student enrollment deposit agreement form to the Office of Admission.

Housing Application and Housing Deposit Deadline
Housing applications must be submitted online or postmarked by may 1 for first priority processing and submitted with a non-refundable $50 housing application fee and $600 security deposit (This deposit is separate from the enrollment deposit.) Applications submitted without an application fee and a housing deposit will not be processed or considered for an assignment.

Mid - May
Registration Information Letter
Provides information on summer advising options and course registration. Note: all registration is done online via WebAdvisor, but students must complete academic advising prior to their assigned registration date. Students will have the option of receiving advising online or attending a small group advising workshop.

Student I.D. Photo Submission
Submit a recent photo to be used for your Chapman University student identification card by the end of July (recommended).

New Student Welcome Receptions
Receptions are held throughout the summer all over the country to welcome new students and their families to the Chapman community.

Academic Advising
Advising for new students begins the first week of June. Students must complete their academic advising requirement prior to course registration. The advising registration hold will be lifted only after students satisfy the mandatory advising requirement.

Math Placement Testing
Placement testing is completed online for those students who wish to place into a higher level math course. Any student who scored below a 500 on the SAT/Math or below 21 on the ACT/Math is required to take the Algebra Placement Test.
Register for Classes
All new students will be assigned a specific date and time when they can begin registering for courses. Those dates will be available on WebAdvisor in late June or early July.

The Housing Assignment information and Notification Email provides students with housing information, which includes their housing assignment, roommates’ names and contact information, and other helpful information to assist students with their move to the residence community.

Final High School Transcripts Due
Final transcripts must include all final grades and proof of completion. Please submit all final transcripts to the Office of Admission.
