About Elections

The Elections Committee oversees elections of the Student Government Association. This includes the election of the President, Vice-President and Senators. 

Elections for the Executive Council are held in spring semester along with elections of the student organization senators, the class senators, and the sophomore, junior, and senior class senators. Elections for the at-large senators and the freshman class senator are held in the fall semester.

Elections for the fall semester are to elect at-large positions, freshman class senator, as well as any other open seats.

Wednesday, Feb. 18 | 7:30 pm | Room TBA | Mandatory Candidate Meeting

Friday, Feb. 20 | Notification of conduct or academic issues

Sunday, Feb. 22 | 9 p.m. | Senate Campaigning Begins

Feb. 23 - March 4 | Executive Council Elections

Wed., March 4 | 5 p.m. | Part 2 of Election Packet Due / Results Announcement

Thur., March 5 | 5 p.m. | All campaign materials must be removed from campus

Friday, March 6 | 5 p.m. | Validation of election results
