About Elections

The Elections Committee oversees elections of the Student Government Association. This includes the election of the President, Vice-President and Senators. 

Elections for the Executive Council are held in spring semester along with elections of the student organization senators, the class senators, and the sophomore, junior, and senior class senators. Elections for the at-large senators and the freshman class senator are held in the fall semester.

Candidate Timeline

Friday, April 1st | Packets available on OrgSync
Sunday, April 10th | 5 p.m. | Part 1 of Election Packet Due
Monday, April 11 | Campaigning begins
Monday - Wednesday, April 18-20th | Senate Elections
Wednesday, April 20th | 5pm | Validation of election results
Thursday, April 21st | All campaign materials must be removed from campus
