I joined C.A.R.E.S. because I knew my views and morals were parallel with what the organization stood for and I figured there was no reason why I shouldn't be taking an active stand for what I believe in and C.A.R.E.S. was the perfect medium for me to do so.

I joined CARES to help Chapman and my fellow CARES members create a more suitable environment for students. I want to advocate for a place where rape and any form of assault or harassment is NOT okay. I know people who have been directly affected by sexual assault...and I want to support them (and all others). Being a part of CARES teaches me how to do that.

Why do you feel CARES is important for our campus? CARES is a great group of people working for an incredibly important cause. Prevention and awareness are key in the effort to create a rape-free environment here at chapman, and in the greater community as well. The presence of CARES on campus is essential to letting survivors and allies know that there is always a safe place for them at Chapman.

Why are you a CARES member: I joined cares because a close friend of mine was tragically raped in high school. Throughout out the remainder of my high school days I looked for that kind of opportunity but never found one. Then I found out about C.A.R.E.S.
