My name is Morgan Thomsen and I am the Vice-President of Recruitment for Chapman's Panhellenic Council. Panhellenic is the University's governing body for our campus's seven sororities.
We have the awesome job of putting on Sorority Recruitment, which is a 3 day, mutual selection process consisting of Go Greek Night, Philanthropy Night, and Preference Morning. You and many other potential new members have the amazing opportunity to bond with women from each of the 7 chapters and find a home away from home by the end of the process.
I'm so excited that you are interested in Formal Recruitment 2011 and hope that you take a look around the website to find out more information on individual chapters, important dates, and frequently asked questions (which should be posted by the time registration opens on August 3, 2012). If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at email@example.com.
In Panhellenic Spirit,
- Morgan Thomsen
What is Sorority Recruitment?
Sorority recruitment is an exciting learning experience! There are many opportunities that sorority life can offer. It is a time to learn about each sorority as they present their obligations, time, commitments, and membership requirements.
As you visit each chapter, you will meet the sorority members and discover how each individual contributes to their sorority and how the sorority contributes to campus life and the community. Formal recruitment consists of three rounds of parties where potential new members and sorority women participate in a mutual selection process for potential new members to possibly join one of Chapman University’s great NPC sororities.
There is a $45 non-refundable fee to register for sorority recruitment.
