+-Hate Incident Protocol
As difficult as it is to admit, hate crimes and hate incidents happen. Hate Crimes can include, but are not limited to, verbal, written, or physical actions intended to hurt another individual or group, whether emotionally, or physically based on an identity protected by state and federal laws. Whether it been a the incident involves a slur, posting, vandalism,harassment, joke, or gesture, all Chapman University students subjected to hate crimes who experience or witness a hate crime or incident are able and encouraged to report it immediately. +-Promising Futures Program
The mission of the Promising Futures Program is to develop a sense of
community among first-generation college students at Chapman and to
support the academic success of first-generation students through
programming, including general meetings, study sessions, workshops,
mentoring, and socials. A first-generation college student is defined as
a student whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have not completed a
bachelor’s degree at a four-year college or university. For more
