The goal of tutoring mathematics is to help students help themselves. Math tutors guide students to assist them to become independent learners. Tutors hired through the Math & Computer Science Clinic have completed the MATH 280: Mathematics Tutoring course, which provides specific training for mathematics tutoring.
Math tutoring is available through the TLT:
- Request an individual tutor for a math course
- Participate in Supplemental Instruction sessions held for challenging math courses
- Visit a math tutor on a drop-in basis during our Math Night in Henley Hall.
