»Tutoring

The TLT is dedicated to providing tutoring services in a wide range of subjects for any Chapman student interested in receiving help outside of class.  Peer tutors are available in several general education subjects and higher level courses within the different areas of study we offer at Chapman.

A variety of tutoring opportunities are available to students in both a one-on-one and group setting.  These include:

All tutors are Chapman students who have excelled in particular subjects.  Peer tutors are not only familiar with their subject, but also with the professors.  They know the ins and outs of the university and can help you feel more comfortable with your academics.

Tutoring services are available with no additional fee to Chapman students.   Students must be enrolled in the course for which they request a tutor.

Tutors are assigned on a "first come, first serve" basis.  We cannot guarantee that tutor will be available to fill all tutor requests.

Good students get the help they need!  Tutoring is available for many subjects in the TLT with no additional fee.

TLT IS LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD SCHOLARS:

If you have at least a 3.0 GPA, sophomore standing or higher, and received an A in the subject you wish to tutor, then you are eligible to apply to be a tutor.  Apply online through Student Employment.  Math, science, and business tutors are especially needed.
