A score of pass on the U.S. Constitution Test satisfies the U.S. Constitution requirement for the California Teaching Credential Program. This test is offered through the Tutoring, Learning, and Testing Center at Chapman University, located in DeMille Hall 130.

Please bring the following:
- Current, government issued, photo identification (i.e. driver’s license or passport)
- $20 test fee – accepted in cash or check payable to Chapman University
+-Important Test Information
The exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions and a score of 38 is required to pass.
The suggested text is The Constitution of the United States, an introduction by Floyd Cullop (available at Amazon.com).
Questions require very specific knowledge of the constitution, so it is important that you know the various parts of the constitution thoroughly.
Note that you must wait 3 weeks before re-taking the exam; the $20 fee is assessed each time the test is administered.
