»US Constitution Test - Teaching Credential Program

Appointments must be made in advance; to sign up for a test time call (714) 997-6828.  It is recommended that you call for an appointment at least one week in advance.  The U.S. Constitution test is offered week days only, between 8:30am and 5pm.

Please bring the following:

• Current, government issued, photo identification (i.e. driver’s license or passport)
• $20 test fee – accepted in cash or check payable to Chapman University

The exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions and a score of 38 is required to pass.

The suggested text is The Constitution of the United States, an introduction by Floyd Cullop (available at Amazon.com).

Questions require very specific knowledge of the constitution, so it is important that you know the various parts of the constitution thoroughly.

Note that you must wait 3 weeks before re-taking the exam; the $20 fee is assessed each time the test is administered.
