BLAST is a conference focusing on Boolean Algebras, Lattices, Algebraic Logic, Quantum Logic, Universal Algebra, Set Theory, Set-theoretic Topology and Point-free Topology. It circulates between different universities. The earlier BLAST meetings were held at the University of Denver (2008), New Mexico State University (2009), the University of Colorado at Boulder (2010) and the University of Kansas (2011).BLAST 2013 is supported by NSF and Chapman University.

The combination of cutting edge research talks in the BLAST
areas with tutorial talks on closely related areas of the foundations of
mathematics has proved to be stimulating. Results were disseminated at the
meetings via lectures. In addition, copies of lectures from the 2009 meeting
are posted at http://subsessile.nmsu.edu/blast/daily.html.
Copies of lectures from the 2010 meeting are posted at http://spot.colorado.edu/~szendrei/BLAST2010/schedule.html
