2008-2009 SERVICE SUMMARY: A list of service experiences in which Chapman students engaged during the 2008-2009 school year.  The Department of Student & Campus Life coordinated experiences that provided almost 1,000 hours of service to our community!

CHAPMAN DAY OF SERVICE: An annual day of service open to all Chapman students, faculty, staff, alumni, and family members.  The 2009 Chapman Day of Service will take place during Homecoming/Family Weekend on Sunday, October 11, 2009.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP SERIES:  The Community Partnership Series consists of multiple events that focus on an identified community need in Orange County.  The Series is always co-sponsored with other academic/administrative departments and student organizations - if you're interested in being a co-sponsor of the Series, please e-mail us at sce@chapman.edu!

GIVE A LITTLE BIT: Help celebrate Chapman University's 150th anniversary by contributing to the "Give A Little Bit" Campaign, a 2-year campaign to engage the Chapman community in 150,000 hours of service to Orange County by fall 2011.

MONTHLY SERVICE EXPERIENCES: Check out the service experiences already planned by Student Civic Engagement staff.  We host at least two service experiences each month, one of which is often associated with national days of service.  If there is a particular community need that you would like us to address through these experiences, please let us know by sending an e-mail to sce@chapman.edu!

NEIGHBORHOOD AGENCIES: There are many opportunities to engage in service in the City of Orange.  Here is information on and links to community agencies located within walking distance from Chapman University.

SERVICE-LEARNING COURSES: Service-Learning provides fantastic experiences for those looking to connect academic learning with community needs.  Through service-learning, you not only learn about our shared community but also engage in important capacity-building work that is necessary for a healthy, successful community.

SERVICE LEARNING PRO: Are you looking for a local service opportunity or a way to document your service experiences?  This  can help you out with both!  Service-Learning Pro allows you to search for service opportunities throughout Orange County, including campus-sponsored opportunities, that match your personal, group, and/or academic interests.  It also provides a system for documenting your service experiences while at Chapman.

SERVICE STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS:  There are multiple service organizations eager for your involvement!  Here's a list of the currently recognized service student organizations.
