Honorable Theodor Albert
The Honorable Theodor Albert was appointed by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on June 1, 2005, and his current term expires May 31, 2019.
In 1975, the Honorable Albert received his Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University, and in 1978, he received his Juris Doctorate from UCLA School of Law. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1978, and 1995 he went on to co-found the law practice of Albert, Weiland & Golden in Costa Mesa. Then, from 1983-1995, he worked for Buchalter, Nemer, Fields & Younger, in Newport Beach. He is a member of the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum, the Orange County Bar Association, and the State Bar of California. In 2000, he received the Peter M. Elliott Award for highest standard of ethics and scholarship.
