Biography

Dr. Rosemary Fahey has served as member of the faculty in the College of Educational Studies since 1987, teaching in the areas of learning theory, comparative education, special education and secondary teaching strategies.  She was the coordinator of Secondary Education in SOE for ten years.  Following retirement from teaching full-time, she continues to teach graduate courses in the MAE program.

Prior to her teaching at Chapman, she taught special education courses at CSU Fullerton for 12 years.  Her earlier work was with the Orange Unified School District as program coordinator committed to service and facilitating opportunity in special education, Chapter I programs and Title IX.

Current interests focus on literacy, library/information science and international education.  She is the Legislative Chair of the Executive Council of OCRA.
