Biography

Paul Tavianini has an M.F.A in Acting from Brandeis University and also studied with the Royal National Theatre Company in London.  He has taught numerous workshops in acting, improvisation, dialects and stage combat to both adults and children for over 15 years.  He was a founding member for 8 years of the Theatre Asylum theatre company in New York City, producing works by new playwrights as well as classic American authors such as Tennessee Williams, Clifford Odets, William Inge and Elmer Rice.  Paul has also had an extensive performing career as an actor in regional theatres across the country, performing with the Merrimack Repertory, Nora and Huntington Theatre companies in Boston, MA; the Hippodrome Theatre Company in Gainesville, FL; Capital Repertory in Albany, NY; and the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre.  Locally he has appeared at A Noise Within in Glendale, and is an active member of the Classical Theatre Lab in West Hollywood.  Paul has appeared on Law & Order and in a number of independent and student films.
