Biography

Paul Reinsch is a film historian whose work most often addresses film sound and argues for the intersection of history and theory in accounting for this often neglected component of cinema.  Reinsch has taught courses in film history (US and international), film theory, the western, Kathryn Bigelow and Brian De Palma.  He has worked as a film reviewer, movie theater popcorn peddler, AMC researcher and also lectured on Tyler Perry, game shows, Dick Wolf, and R. Kelly.  He is the author of A CRITICAL BIBLIOGRAPHY OF SHIRLEY JACKSON.
