Biography

Mike W. Martin (Ph.D., University of California, Irvine) is Professor of Philosophy. He has published about 100 articles and 12 books, including Creativity: Ethics and Excellence in Science (Lexington Books, 2007), Albert Schweitzer's Reverence for Life (Ashgate Publishing, 2007), From Morality to Mental Health: Virtue and Vice in a Therapeutic Culture (Oxford University Press, 2006), Happiness and the Good Life (2012) and Meaningful Work: Rethinking Professional Ethics (Oxford University Press, 2000). He teaches courses in applied ethics.
