Biography

Mara Snee brings 10 years of clinical experience to the MPAS program at Chapman, and a passion for prevention of disease and patient education. She will bring her passion for education to the physician assistant program at Chapman, helping to educate future PAs. She has worked in family medicine, aesthetics, urgent care, occupational medicine, and served as a sub-investigator for phase I-IV clinical trials. Most recently, she served as an assistant director at two local urgent cares, helping implement staff training, new office procedures, and improving PA communication and management. She thoroughly enjoys clinical practice, and providing quality care to patients.
Over the last several years, she has stayed active with her alumni network as USC, serving as an alumni interviewer for potential PA candidates. Through this group, she has served as a preceptor for PA students during their clinical rotations. Over the last year, she provided guest lectures at USC for radiology and clinical skills, while proctoring OSCEs and leading practice sessions for students. This exposure unleashed a newfound passion for teaching and imparting knowledge to the next generation of PA professionals.
