Premiere of the new song-cycle, "Ballads of a Bogman" by Stephen Mc Neff on poetry by Sigerson Clifford, together with tenor, Gavan Ring as part of a Chapman Faculty Opportunity Award 2021-22. McNeff and Ring worked with Chapman music students during the week of April 10-15, 2022. The song-cycle has now been published by Peters Edition.

My book chapter titled "Teaching ‘La Tragédie en Musique’ Across the Curriculum", which I co-authored with Prof. John Boitano of Wilkinson College, is now in print. It appears in "Teaching French Neoclassical Tragedy", which is published by the Modern Language Association of America’s options for teaching series. The book chapter focuses on teaching French baroque opera (aka « la tragédie en musique ») not just within the French/Francophone studies curriculum in higher education, but also in world literature classes taught in English translation. The great baroque operas composed by Lully with his librettist Quinault for the Sun King enjoyed audiences, which were much greater than any of the plays of Molière and Racine. They were sumptuous spectacles, featuring elaborate staging, beautiful costumes, intricate ballet sequences, and superb musical poetry. Spotlight Award Auditions, preliminary round, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Los Angeles, November and December

Guest-taught a class in Piano/Vocal collaboration at the Orange County High School for the Arts, May 2009.

Created a CD recording of the song-cycle, “Images” composed by Chapman colleague, Jeffrey Holmes, with soprano Julieanne Klein, April 2009.

Created a CD recording for Chapman student, Efrain Martinez, as part of a competition application. Mr. Martinez was ultimately a major prize-winner at this competition.

Created CD recordings to accompany Chapman senior vocal and instrumental performance majors for entrance into graduate school auditions or summer programs, November. All students were successful in attaining auditions and scholarship offers to attend major national graduate schools.

Formed a chamber music trio with violinist Songa Lee and clarinetist, Stuart Clark, April 2009.
