Kim Tan is a market researcher and business consultant with over 18 years of experience teaching graduate and undergraduate students at various institutions including University of California Riverside, California State University San Bernardino, University of La Verne and University of South Australia. He was also the Deputy Director with the School of Business Management at Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore where he was heavily involved in institutional research, course and institutional promotion, academic personnel and course management, as well as institutional networking and partnerships. Prior to joining the education industry, Kim worked as a Senior Marketing Research Consultant for Price Waterhouse helping clients such as Intel, IBM, Coca Cola and Yellow Pages in marketing research and strategic organizational development. Kim is a graduate from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. He also earned a MBA with distinction from LSU specializing in strategic management and quantitative business analysis. Upon graduation, he went on to pursue a career in marketing management with Electrolux and Nestle. Kim is also currently serving on a Board of Directors of a wholesale enterprise in the marketing and distribution of consumable products.
