- Biography
Jeffrey Lindstrom is an economist, political scientist, and historian. His primary research interest is process theory of which he examines the interrelationships of economic optimization, political constraints, and effective leadership. Jeffrey has a Ph.D. in Economics and Political Science as well as a M.A. in Politics, Economics, and Business from Claremont Graduate University. His undergraduate degree is in History and Political Science from Whittier College. Prior to Chapman, Jeffrey was a visiting professor at Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok, Russia. Jeffrey has lived in Russia for seven years, founding Model United Nations of the Russian Far East and the first ever M.A. program dedicated to investigating the politics, economics, and business of sustainable development. From 2000-2002 he was a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in the Russian Far East. His non-academic experience includes stints as a college football coach, business consultant, and small-business owner.
