Biography

Research Interests:

• Atmospheric pollution over megacities
• Visualizing and Analyzing Earth Science data
• Interdisciplinary studies in Earth system science, including precipitation and climate Phenomena coupling.
• Dust storms monitoring using multisensor approaches.
• Change detections and Land use/land cover assessments.
• Model coupling with remote sensing for dust storms detection.
• Remote sensing of marine pollution and coral reefs.
• Studying climate trends and climate change impact on sea level rive over lowlands.

Honors/Awards:

• Saudi Arabia Prize for Best Published Article in Environmental Management among 150 articles from the Arab Administrative Development Organization, affiliated with the League of Arab States, 2006
• Faculty of Science Award for winning the Saudi Arabia Prize for the best article in Environmental Management, 2006
