Biography

Education: B.F.A., Character Animation, California Institute of the Arts’ School of Film/Video; A.S. degree, Advertising Design, Pacific Union College

Fred graduated from Monterey Bay Academy in 1979 and then received an A.S. degree in Advertising Design from Pacific Union College in 1981.   He received a B.F.A degree in character animation from California Institute of the Arts’ School of Film/Video.   He studied acting and directing at Film Industry Workshops, Inc. in Studio City, California.

The first five years of his animation career were at Walt Disney Feature Animation.  Fred is currently a Production Designer and Storyboard artist for live-action and animated films, having contributed to such films as Space Jam (Warner Bros.), Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (Paramount), Robot Chicken TV Show (Cartoon Network), The Little Mermaid (Disney), and most recently Randy Cunningham: Ninth Grade Ninja for Disney XD.
