Ernie Marjoram practiced architecture for 15 years before opening his own design consulting firm, where he specialized in creating concept illustrations for architectural, interiors, and entertainment projects. For three years, he worked as a full-time contract artist for Walt Disney Imagineering and helped develop DisneyQuest for their theme park in Orlando, Florida. Inspired by his travels in Japan, Egypt, and Europe, Marjoram also enjoys plein-air painting and his works are presently exhibited by TAG gallery in Bergamot Station.

His experiences as an artist have influenced his craft tremendously, and he encourages his students to study traditional art as well as modern. “Embrace new technologies but develop traditional drawing skills as well,” he suggests. “The more skills you have, the more valuable you are in the workplace.”
