Biography

After working extensively in freelance production, Eric Young served as an executive at The Walt Disney Studios in the motion picture, television and home entertainment divisions.  While at Disney he was involved in such productions as Toy Story II, Home Improvement, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Santa Clause, Ed Wood, The Rocketeer, Armageddon, and The Sixth Sense.  Later, he became President and Executive Producer of Original Programming for Sparkhill, a prominent production company that created award-winning home entertainment content for hundreds of titles including An Inconvenient Truth, 24, Alien Quadrilogy, Family Guy, The African Queen, Rachel Getting Married, Iron Man, The Harold Lloyd Comedy Collection, Braveheart, Sweeny Todd, Ray Harryhausen: The Early Years Collection, and The Wizard of Oz.  With a focus in new media, Young became an early pioneer producing and directing the first-ever “mobisodes” of 24: Conspiracy, Prison Break: Proof of Innocence, and Bones: Skeleton Crew, all based on the hit Fox television shows.
