When former Marine Don Marsh decided he wanted to teach, it was a lack of available history classes that led him to teaching an industrial arts class and ultimately discovering a passion for graphics and printing.

“The process is entirely hands-on,” says Marsh. “I enjoy starting a project from conception and seeing it through to the finished project. Working in the graphic arts allows me that satisfaction. ”

Complementing his passion for graphics is his dedication to a life of continuous learning, evident in his personal endeavors. The business changes constantly and Marsh frequently takes courses to ensure he stays on top of the latest technology, trends, and capabilities.

Marsh’s commitment to teaching started 37 years ago, and is still going strong today. What’s the best part?

"Seeing my students meet challenges and succeed in a new area,” says Marsh. “Opening their eyes to the world of works is truly an enjoyable experience.”
