"Amicus Curiae" means friend of the court.
The School of Law's Amicus Fund is a collection of unrestricted gifts from friends, alumni, parents and organizations that enhance the achievements of Chapman University School of Law.
Our talented students benefit from the personalized and innovative clinically oriented legal education and our faculty members' progressive legal research and development are more widely available as the result of donations through the Amicus Fund.
Unrestricted gifts allow the dean the discretion to provide additional support to important projects and innovative programs, to aid the legal clinics and provide additional scholarships to help students study at Chapman School of Law.
