Bar Association Membership for Students
There are many different bar associations students may join that can assist in their professional development and networking. View a list of bar associations with free student memberships.
Orange County Bar Association (OCBA)
How to become a member:
For the 2014-15 academic year, Fowler School of Law has already purchased student memberships with the Orange County Bar Association for all currently enrolled students. If you have not received an e-mail with your membership information by the end of October 2014, please contact the OCBA’s membership department.
Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) and Other Bar Associations
How to become a member:
If students can show that they would derive a greater benefit from LACBA or another bar association, the Career Services Office will consider sponsoring their membership to such organization.
+ - Business Card Orders
The Career Services Office encourages all students to have business cards. Business cards can be a valuable networking tool. Orders for Chapman business cards are only placed at the beginning of each semester: in September for the fall; in January for the spring.
