+-Bar Associations

There are many different bar associations students may join that can assist in their professional development and networking.  Chapman University School of Law is pleased to cover the cost of membership for any student interested in joining the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) and/or Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA). There are many affiliate bar associations that may be of interest to you. The Career Services has student registration forms for select affiliate bar associations. 



Student Memberships for Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA)

Chapman Law will pay for your 2013 LACBA student membership (normally $40). The deadline for registration is has expired for 2013 student memberships.  Check back in the Fall to sign up for a 2014 membership.

Orange County Bar Association (OCBA)

Chapman Law will pay for your OCBA student membership. Complete the membership form for the OCBA; submit to the Assistant Dean of Student & Alumni Affairs.

+-Business Card Orders

The Career Services Office encourages all students to have business cards. Business cards can be a valuable networking tool. Orders for Chapman business cards are only placed at the beginning of each semester: in September for the fall; in January for the spring.

Chapman University School of Law Events:

The School of Law regularly sponsors a variety of events including the Chapman Dialogue series, Chapman En Banc, symposiums and panels.

Visit the calendar section on the association/organization website to identify upcoming mixers and events. If there is not a calendar section, you can often request to be added to their listserv distribution.

Conference & Career Fairs
