When we send your I-20/DS 2109, we will also send an email with important links that will guide you through the visa application process and Chapman University requirements for newly admitted international students.
The links are:
Student Process Steps: How to Navigate the U.S. Immigration System
- Student Health Center Immunization Requirements. (Keep in mind that “recommended” means it is optional and “required” means you must do it.) Complete the International Student Health Record Form.
- Chapman Admissions for International Students
- Housing for graduate students and transfers only (not for freshmen). Complete the Interest Questionnaire as soon as possible. It is very competitive to find housing near the campus.
SEVIS Transfer Students
Students who are currently attending another school within the USA will be a SEVIS transfer. Please contact the International Student & Scholar Services Coordinator, Susan Sams at sams@chapman.edu and request that a Transfer Request Form is sent to you.
Study Abroad
International students who wish to study abroad for a semester or short-term travel course while at Chapman can read more information about what you need to do and how to apply.
The International Student Handbook should answer many questions you may have.
