Established in 2009, the Chapman University System was created to be responsive to the divergent needs of today’s student population. The System consists of Chapman University, a 150-year-old, fully accredited private university in Orange, California that is focused on the needs of traditional full-time students; and Brandman University, a separate, fully accredited institution dedicated to extending the Chapman education to working adult students online and through a network of 26 campuses in California and Washington.
