IRS Form 990
The university is a tax-exempt organization under Section 503(c) of the Department of Treasury's Internal Revenue Code. Form 990 is the return that charities and other tax-exempt organizations are required to file annually. The new core form allows an organization to describe its exempt accomplishments and mission up-front and provides more opportunities throughout the form for the organization to explain its activities, thus providing transparency of the organization's activities while ensuring compliance with IRS regulations.
