+-Art Supplement (SlideRoom)

All prospective applicants to the Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music (whether auditioning in-person or via audition upload) must submit an Art Supplement via SlideRoom, http://chapman.slideroom.com. Students will be asked general questions, answer a music questionnaire and add supplemental documents (writing sample, headshot, etc.) as required per academic program. Please refer to the individual “Apply” pages for detailed admission requirements for each program.

You can access SlideRoom one of two ways:

1. Through the Common Application:

  • Answer "Yes" to “Do you intend to submit an Art Supplement” under the Chapman University questions.
  • A new tab labeled Art Supplement will appear and provide a link to Chapman University’s SlideRoom portal.

2. Directly at http://chapman.slideroom.com.

Once you arrive at SlideRoom, login to your existing SlideRoom account or create a new account.

From the given program list, identify your first choice academic program (as listed in your Common Application) and click "Begin." Each program is listed twice, once as “Audition In-Person,” and again as “Audition Upload.”

If you intend to attend an audition at Chapman University please select “Audition In-Person.” If you do not plan to attend an in-person audition please select the “Audition Upload” option for your intended program.

You may submit your Art Supplement in SlideRoom prior to or after your Common Application submission. You may also submit multiple Art Supplements if you have an interest in multiple programs.

NOTE: Your application to Chapman will not be complete until you have submitted your Common Application and submitted your Art Supplement in SlideRoom.
