Space Enhancement Work Requests
Space enhancement is any visual change to the university’s interior or exterior appearance. This includes, but is not limited to, the addition of art, photos, plaques, lettering, murals, electronic displays, wall color changes, etc. All proposed additions or modifications to the interior and exterior building surfaces require the appropriate approval and review by the Campus Planning Department. This policy governs all university spaces other than private offices (exception: private office wall color changes will require this form). It is important to note that the majority of campus space has been designed by professional architectural and interior design firms and any enhancements must be consistent to the overall design of that building. The Campus Planning Department will be responsible for determining if the request meets the general design intent of that space. Improvements to a university space (i.e., physical changes to walls, windows, doors, floorings, etc.) require the Space Improvement Work Request (see www.chapman.edu/campusPlanning/requests/). Request space enhancements by downloading the Space Enhancement Work Request Form (PDF). Print out and complete all required information. All Work Request Forms must be signed by the appropriate department Director or Chair. Once signed, forward form to the Campus Planning Department. |
