»Parking Auction

You will be bidding for a permit that gives you a reserved space 20/7 except for commencement weekend.  Winners may choose to locate this space in Lastinger, Barrera or (if the winner is a Faculty member) Hashinger.  This permit is valid September 7, 2012 through August 16, 2013. 

• 67 permits will be auctioned.  You can begin placing bids in the Reserved Acution on Monday August 20^th at 9:30 AM (PST). 
• Starting bid is $1270, the price will decrease by $20 every 30 minutes (10 am to 10pm), between 10am and 10 pm on Tuesday August 28^th and Wednesday August 29^th.
• Priority for a particular parking spot is given to the higher bidder, with time of bid breaking ties.
• If you win a Reserved Space permit, you will pay the $300 annual fee in addition to the final auction price.  If you have already paid the annual $300 parking fee, you do not need to pay it again.

You will be bidding for a permit that allows you to enter the Villa Park Orchard Lot, and no other lot on campus, Monday through Friday.  On Saturdays, Sundays, and during the Summer break this permit can be used in the same area Commuter Permits are valid.  This permit is valid August 31, 2012 through August 16, 2013.

• 129 VPO permits will be auctioned.  You can begin placing bids on Monday August 20^th at 9:30 AM (PST).
• The starting bid is $50; the price will drop by $1 every 30 minutes between 10am and 10 pm on Tuesday August 28^th and Wednesday August 29^th.
• VPO Auction winners DO NOT need to pay the $300 parking fee in addition the final auction price.  If you have already paid the $300 fee, you will be reimbursed upon return of the purchased decal.
