In order to hold particular events on campus you may be required to obtain a fire permit from the University and/or the City of Orange. To determine whether or not a fire permit will be necessary follow the steps below.
Determining if your event requires a fire permit:
**Note: As some events will require a permit from the City of Orange make sure to allow at least 14 days for processing.
Complete a Fire & Life Safety Permit Checklist. If you answer yes to one of the questions you will have to submit a Special Event Fire Permit Application to Public Safety.
Upon reviewing your application, the Fire Safety Officer will determine if a fire permit is necessary for your event.
