When planning an event, faculty & staff should contact the appropriate financial manager for your department to discuss available department account sources and event funds.
Student Organization Accounts
Recognized student organizations can open an on-campus account to manage money that comes in from donations, dues, or fundraiser.
- Opening an on-campus account: To open an on-campus account complete and fill out the sample memo with the name, purpose, signers and the club advisor or on-campus contact for the account indicated. Have the memo approved/signed by one or more of the University’s signers, by the VP Enrollment and Student Life. Submit the completed and approved memo to Financial Services who will establish the account and contact the organization with the new account number.
