»Benefits for Military Personnel & Veterans

The Argyros School’s Dean, Reginald Gilyard, served in the U.S. Air Force as a Program Manager responsible for the development, production and fielding of global intelligence systems procured through government contractors. Dean Gilyard is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy where he received a BS in Mathematics/Operations Research, and a graduate of the Air Force Institute of Technology where he received an MS in Computer Systems Engineering.


Application Fee Waiver

In appreciation of your service to our country, Chapman University waives the application fee for current and former service men and women.

+-Yellow Ribbon Program

Chapman University is pleased to participate in the Yellow Ribbon program of the Post 9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33). The Yellow Ribbon program makes additional funds available to qualifying individuals without an additional charge to your GI Bill entitlement. MBA students may receive up to $6,000 towards qualifying tuition and fees per academic year and VA will contribute matching funds. Up to 10 students may participate in the program. +-Argyros Merit Scholarships

Merit scholarships are available for qualified applicants starting at $3,000 and are offered based on your application. If you would like to be considered for a merit scholarship, then you are encouraged to apply by the Early Action Deadlines (Full Time MBA - November 1, Executive and Flex MBA - April 1).

+-Military Scholarships

The Council of College and Military Educators offers $1,000 scholarships for service members, military spouses and veterans who are working towards the completion of a higher education degree. Please visit CCME for more information.

+-Institute for Military Personnel, Veterans, Human Rights & International Law & AMVETS Legal Clinic

The institute provides pro bono representation to military personnel and Veterans. They provide legal representation on issues ranging from Discharge Upgrades, Traumatic Service Group Life Insurance Appeals, VA Benefits Appeals, and issues arising under the Service Members Civil Relief Act.
