Degrees are conferred three times per year – January 31, May 31, and August 31. There is however only one commencement ceremony and that is in May. All students whose degrees are being conferred in January, May and August of the same year may be entitled to walk in the commencement ceremony. August graduates who will not have all of their coursework completed by May can walk in commencement if they have two or less courses outstanding.
In order to receive your degree, you must apply for degree conferral through Webadvisor. Logon to Webadvisor, click “Application for Degree Conferral” and submit form. Students who apply for January , May and August of the same year will automatically be invited to participate in the May commencement ceremony. Deadlines change every year for detailed information visit the academic calendar. The Commencement office handles all activities related to commencement. Students who plan on walking in May should check the commencement website to make sure they are on track to participate in the ceremony.
Students with GPA in the top 20% will be invited to join Beta Gamma Sigma (honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB). Induction ceremony held prior to commencement.
Graduating students with GPA in the top 5% will be designated Argyros Scholars. Students will be notified after commencement.
