TRISTAN PHILLIPS Baseball
Phillips has been on a tear over the past 12 games for Division III's No. 1-ranked Panthers. The junior has raised his batting average from .325 to a team-leading .426 - that's 101 points in three weeks! In a three-game sweep against the University of Dallas this weekend, Phillips was 8-for-11 (.727) with 11 RBI and became the first player in Chapman history to hit two home runs in the same inning when he hit a solo homer and a grand slam in the sixth inning of Friday's 18-0 win over the Crusaders. During his recent 12-game hitting streak, the Panthers' 3B is batting .580 (29-for-50) with 21 RBI. Chapman (35-3) has won 27 of its last 28 games and will find out its postseason fate on Sunday night.
