Overview

The Office of Career Planning and Placement (OCPP), within the Argyros School of Business and Economics is committed to providing undergraduate students with individualized career planning strategies, advising, and placement assistance while connecting them to employers and alumni for internship and full-time opportunities. 

We know you seek the best resources to fill your employment and internship needs and we want you to know that our business students are bright, talented, highly motivated, and capable of meeting the goals of your organization.

On-Campus Recruiting Policies

In preparation for your visit during our Accounting Recruiting events this spring, we would like to remind you to please submit an updated Certificate of Insurance (COI) and Recruiting Supplement Agreement Form for your organization before arriving to campus.

  • Please send an updated COI to our office either by fax: (714) 532-6081 Attention: Brittany Deneau or email: deneau@chapman.edu. Chapman University requires an annual update of this form from all employers before they come to campus.

Recruiting and Visibility Options

+-Job and Internship Postings

The OCPP uses NaceLink (ASBE CONNECT), an online integrated system for employers, to post job and internship opportunities for business students and alumni at no charge.

Once an employer has registered as a Nacelink user it is also possible, for a nominal fee, to post openings to other schools associated with Nacelink making a one-stop-shop environment for student recruitment needs.

+-Accounting On-Campus Interviews

Offered during the months of October, November, March and April, this program is open to accounting firms to interview for entry-level positions as well as internships and summer leadership programs.

To participate, please establish an employer profile on our Nacelink (ASBE CONNECT) system and submit a new schedule request.  For more information, please contact us at 714-532-6077.

+-Accounting Mock Interviews

Hosted by the Accounting Society, our mock interview event provides an ideal opportunity for our students to practice and enhance their communication and interviewing skills with recruiters and professionals from top accounting firms. If you are interested in helping our accounting students build their interviewing skills and establishing connections with students earlier in their academic career please contact Sandra Hague at 714-744-7812.

+-Meet the Firms

Held mid-September, this one-night event sponsored by the Accounting Society and the Office of Career Planning and Placement, provides an excellent opportunity for accounting firms to meet potential hires. +-Speaker Engagements and Meet and Greets

Does your organization have a college focused, career related presentation that you would like to share with our students? Interested in recruiting top talent for your internship program or full-time opportunities? Contact Sandra Hague at 714-744-7812 to help you strategically plan your future campus visit.

+-Employer Office Hours

Interested in meeting our students? We can provide you the opportunity to have one on one time with our business students to review resumes and provide them with information about opportunities within your organization.  For more information or to schedule at date, e-mail Brittany Deneau or call 714-532-6077.

+-Request a Resume Book

The OCPP is happy to provide employers with resumes of our graduating seniors seeking full-time employment.  In order to obtain resumes, you will need to have access to our Nacelink (ASBE CONNECT) system.  For further details, contact us at 714-532-6077.
