Benefits of a Chapman EMBA

Consider these...

  • Classes meet Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings to accommodate your work and travel schedule
  • Personalized education with small class size
  • Relationships with peers who become a lifelong resource network
  • Extensive use of computer-assisted technologies in decision making
  • Immediate new knowledge to bring to your job

"Chapman University's Argyros School of Business MBA program provided me with the perfect balance of business theories, international perspectives, case studies, class discussions and team projects, all encompassed around my work and family life.  At work, I’ve applied practical leadership and operation management disciplines taught by my distinguished Chapman University Professors, which have resulted in two significant promotions during my time in the MBA program."

    Kevin Ross '08
    Director of Trade Compliance,
    Precision Castparts Corporation

  • The entire program can be completed in 21 months
  • Distinguished Speaker Series

EMBA students move through the program in a cohort fashion, taking every class together. There are team projects where you will work with three or four of your peers in a group. As you work closely together, you exchange ideas and experiences that enhance and strengthen the learning process. This not only enriches your education, but leads to the development of a network of lifelong friends and business associates.

Class Profile

The Executive MBA program enrolls students with a diversity of backgrounds. Students come from a variety of industries and functional areas of business.

The age of entering Executive MBA students ranges from just under 30 to over 50 years of age, with the average at 37 years of age at the time of enrollment.

Information Technology

Proficient use of information technology is critical to success both in today's business world and in the EMBA program. Each Executive M.B.A. student is provided a laptop computer, an Internet account, and all software needed for the program. Students are able to share files and communicate with each other and their faculty from anywhere in the world via e-mail and groupware.

MBA Association

The MBAA is the student organization committed to enhancing the Chapman MBA experience by providing opportunities for academic, professional, and social advancement. The Association sponsors social events, speaker series, career workshops and other activities of interest to the student population. As an advocate of the MBA students, the Association works with the Argyros School administration to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and feedback that may contribute to the growth and improvement of the school.

MBA Alumni Society

All MBA and EMBA alumni are encouraged to become a member of the MBA Alumni Society.  Its mission is to promote the advancement of the best interests of the ASBE, by providing fellowship and promoting the furtherance of professional relationships among alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of the Society.
