Chapman University’s Economic Forecast is one of the most respected and well-attended events in Southern California.  The forecast is used by numerous local companies and agencies to create their own business plans and annual projections.  As has been done every year, a comprehensive assessment of the accuracy of last year’s forecast will be presented.  The growing recognition of the A. Gary Anderson Center’s forecasting coverage and accuracy is evident by research results quoted in The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, The New York Times, Time magazine, The Christian Science Monitor and USA Today.  Over the years, the Economic Forecast Conference has raised more than $1.2 million in scholarship funds to support young men and women pursuing their dream of a college education.
