Chapman University welcomes applications from transfer students in the fall and spring semesters. Unlike public colleges and universities, Chapman has no single set of requirements which guarantees admission to all majors. If you are a California community college student, make an appointment with an advisor at your community college transfer center. With your advisor's assistance, select courses which meet requirements for C.S.U (California State University) certification in general education or IGETC (Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum) certification. If you will be transferring from an out-of-state institution or from another four-year university, you should concentrate on Chapman's General Education requirements available in our Transfer Brochure. Transfer students are evaluated on the strength of their college work. Transfer students should demonstrate progress toward fulfilling Chapman's general education requirements. |
