Posting a Job

PLEASE NOTE: The Student Employment Job Submission and Posting System has been revised.

You should be able to submit jobs directly via this form to Student Employment Office. If you run into a technical problem, please be patient with us as we work through conversion problems. We are hopeful that we can complete the conversion process before the fall semester begins. We anticipate that this new system will be more user-friendly and efficient.

  1. Define Your Needs
    Decide on the specifics of the job you are trying to fill, and how many students you will need to do the job.

  2. Write a Job Description
    You can get a job description form from Student Employment Services, or you can give us the information on our website here. Details should include the job duties, a proposed pay rate based on the current pay scale, the contact person, etc. Please indicate the number of students you would like to hire.

  3. Send Job Description to Student Employment Services for Approval/Advertisement
    After our office reviews and approves your job description, we will advertise it to students for you.

  4. Receive Student Employment Forms from Student Employment Services
    When your job description is posted by Student Employment, you will receive the Student Employment Forms (SEF) for that position. These will allow you to have students hired through our office.
