Gifts In-Kind

Donations such as art, books, furnishings, equipment, technology and more are considered gifts-in-kind.  If you’d like to contribute an in-kind gift to Chapman, contact a University Advancement staff member. 

The Office of Corporate & Foundation Relations (CFR) facilitates and advances mutually rewarding relationships between Chapman University and its corporate and foundation partners. The CFR office collaborates with University Advancement, the President’s office, deans and faculty to identify strategic funding priorities that support the mission of each college and university as an institution. We strive to build relationships that support the university’s priorities and mission and enable corporate partners to fulfill their community involvement objectives. Planned Giving

Planned giving allows you to make charitable gifts to Chapman University now or after your lifetime while enjoying financial benefits for yourself.

Planned gifts are sometimes referred to as "stop-and-think" gifts because they require some planning and, often, help from your professional advisors. Unlike cash donations, they are typically made from assets in your estate rather than disposable income, and come to fruition upon your death. A misconception is that planned giving is only for the "wealthy." The truth is, even people of modest means can make a difference through planned giving.

The most common planned gift is a bequest in your will or living trust. Other planned gifts include:

Payroll Deductions

Chapman University faculty and staff can make charitable contributions to the university through a convenient payroll deduction.  Fill out the Gift Payroll Deduction Form to arrange a one-time gift or monthly deduction.
