Loan Exit Counseling is required every time a student takes a break in enrollment, drops below half time status or graduates. This process helps to prepare the student borrower transition into repayment for their loans. Federal Loan Exit Counseling can be completed by logging into StudentLoans.gov with their FAFSA PIN and then selecting Loan Counseling from the menu on the left of the page, and continue by selecting Loan Exit Counseling. For questions regarding Loan Entrance and Exit counseling for Chapman Interest-Free loans, please contact the Office of Student Business Services for more information.
The National Student Loan Database System (NSLDS) is a federal database system where students may view a complete history of their Federal Loans, Federal Grants, and Loan Counseling, both Entrance and Exit for Federal Loans.
