Welcome! My name is Kamila Petrencik and I am the Vice-President of Recruitment for Chapman's Panhellenic Council. We have the awesome job of putting on Sorority Recruitment, which is a three day, mutual selection process consisting of Go Greek Night, Philanthropy Night, and Preference Morning. You and many other potential new members have the amazing opportunity to bond with women from each of the eight chapters and find a home away from home by the end of the process.
I'm so excited that you are interested in Formal Recruitment 2013 and hope that you take a look around the website to find out more information on individual chapters, important dates, and frequently asked questions (which should be posted by the time registration opens on August 1, 2013).
In Panhellenic Spirit,
What is Sorority Recruitment?
Sorority recruitment is an exciting learning experience! There are many opportunities that sorority life can offer. It is a time to learn about each sorority as they present their obligations, time, commitments, and membership requirements.
As you visit each chapter, you will meet the sorority members and discover how each individual contributes to their sorority and how the sorority contributes to campus life and the community. Formal recruitment consists of three rounds of parties where potential new members and sorority women participate in a mutual selection process for potential new members to possibly join one of Chapman University’s great NPC sororities.
There is a $45 non-refundable fee to register for sorority recruitment up until August 30. After August 30, the non-refundable fee is increased to $60.
Stop by and learn about our eight sororities, get information on how to register for recruitment, and more!

This event will allow you to meet 6 women from each chapter who will tell you what their chapter has to offer. You do not have to register for this event! Just show up!
AF 201 (Potential new members meet there)
Women must be registered for recruitment in order to attend the following events:
Thursday, September 5, 2013 (times will vary based on the Recruitment Guide groups that women are assigned)
A recruitment guide will contact women letting them know when their specific orientation session will take place. This session is mandatory for all women registered for recruitment. It will give them the chance to learn about recruitment rules and what to expect in the days to come. They will meet their recruitment guides and get to know other women going through the recruitment process.
