A support service in the Office of the Chancellor, The Office of Faculty Affairs is specifically designed to provide communication with faculty, policy clarity, faculty records management, search and evaluation protocols, and faculty governance support. The OFA provides

  • Workshops and Training
  • Information Sharing
  • Search Committee Support
  • Faculty Records Management
  • Peer and Administrative Evaluation Coordination

Faculty members are welcome to review their academic files in the OFA, or to request clarification of the Faculty Manual or academic policies. We can also help with general questions and connecting you to available resources on campus to better assist you.

Lunches are served daily for current faculty, Emeriti professors, full-time librarians, senior administration, Trustees, Governors and their guests.

Coffee service: 10am Monday through Friday
Lunch service: 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Critical Year, Tenure & Promotion Evaluations

Workshops occur in the fall and spring for faculty covering the promotion process at Chapman. They include: defining excellence, how to assemble a file as well as workshops on how to build an ePortfolio.
