What is Chapman University Young Alumni (CUYA)?

If you graduated from Chapman between 2003 and 2013, you’re invited to be a part of Chapman University Young Alumni (CUYA). CUYA creates opportunities for undergraduate alumni who have graduated in the last ten years to connect with fellow alumni, current students and the university.

CUYA strives to do the following:

  • Create a greater sense of community for alumni who have graduated from Chapman University within the past 10 years.
  • Allow young alumni to stay connected with their alma mater by networking, socializing and building relationships with Chapman leaders.
  • Increase the participation of young alumni in Chapman university events, particularly those directed toward young alumni.
  • Raise alumni giving participation.
  • Allow current students and young alumni to realize the value and importance of giving their resources in order to improve and continue the mission of Chapman University.

If you would like to get involved, have any ideas or would like any additional information, please contact Jessica Price ’11 at (714) 628-2777 or pricej@chapman.edu.

  • Chapman Chats: Student and Alumni Perspectives

Interested in coming back to campus to interact with and mentor current students?

Chapman Chats gives students and alumni the chance to interact and develop relationships in an informal setting. Alumni facilitators will lead a discussion with students by asking thought provoking questions, encouraging students to think about their time at Chapman and life after Chapman, sharing your experiences and offering advice. As alumni, you have been in the students’ shoes recently and have valuable knowledge to share. Students have a number of questions about navigating Chapman and how they should make the most out of their Chapman experience.

It is important for students to develop relationships with those outside of their immediate social and academic circles. These relationships are the ones that will help them get internships and job. You can help students start creating these connections by being a facilitator for Chapman Chats!

    Want to get involved?

Chapman Chats is scheduled in the evenings during the week of March 31 to April 3, 2014.

    Alumni
Apply to be an Alumni Facilitator. Applications are open until March 8 at 5 p.m.

    Students
