+-Live View of Attallah Piazza
President Doti got the idea for a piazza at Chapman while touring Italy. He loved how the piazzas in the great Italian cities served as focal points for family, friends and visitors. Donna Ford Attallah, a 1961 Chapman alumna, donated $1.5 million to have the piazza named for her late husband, Fahmy. She said the space was a fitting tribute to Fahmy, a clinical psychologist, poet and sportsman who loved Chapman even though he was a USC graduate. The piazza is anchored by the dramatic Marion Halfacre Fountain. The graceful Lee Ann, Chris and Christa Lee Canaday Amphitheater hugs the south slope of the piazza. The expansive Wells Fargo Stage, positioned in front of the Leatherby Libraries, holds many events and performances throughout the year.
