»Founders Day - March 13-14, 2015

March 13-14
Genesis: Now

Founders Day is an annual event sponsored by the Office of Church Relations, connecting students, faculty and community members with an outstanding scholar in the area of religion (Founders Education Day) and a renewal and reunion event for Disciples of Christ and United Church of Christ people (Founders Day).

The scholar is Richard H. Lowery, Ph.D. Yale. [external link: http://www.cts.edu/faculty/other-instructors/rick-lowery.aspx]. Dr. Lowery is a masterful story-teller and lecturer, using humor and keen insight to help us get into Genesis in fresh and provocative ways. He is currently working on a new book, Genesis and Human Rights, and his lectures will help us focus on social justice and human rights themes through key stories in Genesis.
